Jb the first Lady is a Vancouver based female hip hop artist, beat-boxer, performing artist, aboriginal youth educator, single mother, award-winning actor, and member of the Nuxalk and Cayauga Nations who is "using [her] words to go upwards/not backwards." These are lyrics that describe what JB tries to convey in her music. Hip Hop is her chosen avenue of expression. JB’s music is lyrically motivated with depth, meaning, and positivity like none other. She has release 2 albums in 2 years. Her first Album is called “Indigenous Love” and her current release is Called “Get Ready Get Steady”. JB Rocks 3 or more shows a month at Youth conferences, Clubs and Community events in Metro Vancouver area. She has release her very first music video from the 2nd album called “Get Ready Get Steady”.
