Digging Roots

After three years of touring Canada, the US, and Europe, Digging Roots headed back to the studio to create their latest release entitled We Are. Co-produced by Kinnie Starr, the album features carefully crafted songs, tight studio arrangements and soulful performances. The title track for the disc hit #1 on the National Aboriginal Top 30 Countdown in September.

The Bastard Fairies

The Bastard Fairies began when lead singer Yellow Thunder Woman and guitarist Robin Davey met in Minneapolis when Robin came from the U.K. to produce the 2003 release of Indigenous’ self-titled album. Soon after, they began to create their own music because “there wasn’t any music out there that they liked listening too”, Yellow Thunder Woman says.
