Avi Diamond is the founder of Carat Music Brokering. The company is a License and Synch enterprise based in Toronto. Avi is dedicated to helping musicians place their music in the film and television world.

Avi earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature at Concordia University. Shortly after graduating, he began building his career in the music industry at SONY BMG Music Canada Inc. where he was responsible for leading and mentoring a Lifetstyle Marketing team stretching across Canada’s major city centres. Moonlighting in licensing over his four-year tenure, he developed his talent for pairing music and film and in 2006 decided to leave his post at SONY BMG to start CARAT MUSIC BROKERING, a company dedicated to song placement and music supervision. Avi has just completed music supervising a feature film, The Third Eye, and is heavily involved in seeking placements for his growing roster of artists.
